Sightseeing Places in Coorg or Kodagu

NISARGADHAMA: This sightseeing place in Coorg is located in the scenic Island formed by river Cauvery. This place is 25 Kms from Madikeri and 2 Kms from Kushalnagar in Kodagu. The forest of Nisargadhama is dense and consist flora like foliage, teak and rosewood, bamboo grooves. Tourists can visit a mini Zoo, the deer park and elephant camp in Nisargadhama.

  2. Irupu Falls: 48 kms from Virajpet, the falls originate from Lakshmana thirtha river which flows from the Brahma Giri range.
  3. Mallalli Falls: 22 kms from Somwarpet, waterfalls in the Pushpagiri range, a largest and highest waterfall in Coorg.
  4. Chelavara Falls: 22 kms from Madikeri, within the plantation, need to trek to reach there, best to visit in monsoon.
