TATA TEA MUSEUM: This place is located just 12 Kms from the Munnar at Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea. This museum is one of the famous tourist attractions and it showcases several antiquities that are excavated and one of the famous of them is the burial urn excavated near Periakanal Estate.
ANAMUDI PEAK: This place is located in the interior of the Eravikulam Park and is at a peak of 2695 m. This hill has various kinds of flora and fauna and also well known as a place of endangered animals.
ECHO POINT: This is another beautiful spot for nature lovers coming to Munnar and also it is an adventure destination. The beautiful view of the lush green hills around is a thrilling experience and an apt place for trekking and unwinding yourself.
HILL VIEW PARK IN IDUKKI: Those who want a nice experience of seeing the panoramic view of the Cheruthoni and Idukki Dams can visit Hill View Park. The park is spread on an area of 8 Acres and is well maintained.
IDUKKI ARCH DAM: This is a hydro electric project encompassing 20 Small and Big Dams, 5 Rivers, a handful of Underground Tunnels and an underground power generator. This also a nice place for nature lovers since it is located in between 2 mountains.
KALVARI MOUNT: This place is located at a distance of 5 Kms from Idukki . This is a steep slope and it provides a nice view of the reservoir from Idukki to Ayyappancovil on one side and Kamakshy as well as Mariyapuram villages on the other side.
KOLUKKUMALAI TEA ESTATE: This is located at a distance of 35 Kms from Munnar and is a crest above the scorching plains of Tamilnadu. This is at a height of 8000 feet and is one of the reputed tea estates of Kerala.
KUNDALA LAKE: This dam is located 28Kms from Munnar and is one of the tourist attractions that can give a panoramic natural vista and shikara & boat rides for tourists to enjoy on the lake.
MATTUPETTI INDO SWISS FARM: This farm is famous for the superior range of cattle and the way they are nurtured and bred. This farm is open from morning to evening for tourists.
TOP STATION: This tourist attraction in Munnar is located 41 Kms and is named for obvious reasons. This is the home for the highest tea plantations in India. This is located on the borders of Kerala and Tamilnadu.
RAJAMALAI NATIONAL PARK (Eravikulam National Park): This Park was started to preserve Nilgiri Tahr, a rare species of the wild goats found only in the south of the Himalayas. You will get to see shola forest and grasses.
